Stephen Sinclair
Steve Sinclair has held leadership positions across Finance, Sales, and Strategy & Planning since joining Cisco in 1994. As Cisco’s first channels controller, he helped drive the company’s entry into the channel and eventually led its field channel sales efforts for the Western United States. Steve is a 30 year veteran of Cisco Systems, recently retired. In addition to core planning & ops, Steve has led sales acquisition integration, general management development, and a wide variety of company efforts spanning go-to-market strategies, executing against key competitors, and supporting key customer segments. Before joining Cisco, Steve was with Yeager, Wood, and Marshall, a money management firm, and The LEK Partnership, a management consulting firm. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Stanford University and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School. He lives in Palo Alto, California with his wife Becky and their two children. Steve & Becky are long time Armstrong Alum parents. Their daughter Katie attended Armstrong for 5-years and son Blake for 8-years (the last first grade class!). Both Steve and Becky and have been actively involved in various committees, chaired the 50th anniversary gala, were room parents, etc. and believe deeply in Armstrong’s mission – they have seen the school’s impact on their kids and others. Steve looks forward to building on his Finance Committee work and contributing ‘next level’ as the Board helps Armstrong evolve over the next years.
