Kim Bottoms is the proud parent of an alum who attended Armstrong for seven years. Kim serves on the Board because she believes in the mission and is deeply grateful to the school for transforming not only her daughter’s life, but the lives of all Armstrong students. She appreciates everything about Armstrong, especially how the students are truly known for who they are, and that they are supported and encouraged by the caring and dedicated teachers. Kim chairs the Governance Committee and also serves on the Advancement Committee. She has a background in education and corporate recruiting, first working as a director of an academic enrichment program for middle and high school students at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. She then worked in human resources for PricewaterhouseCoopers and later at an internet consulting firm. Kim is a community volunteer who served on The Carey School Board of Trustees and has held various roles at her sons’ schools. Kim holds a BA in English Literature from Wittenberg University. She and her husband, Dave, live in San Mateo with their three children.
