Katie Storey
Katie Storey is the parent of an Armstrong alum who attended Armstrong for eight years. She has been an Armstrong trustee since 2017 and is the Immediate Past Chair. Katie’s favorite thing about Armstrong is the infectious joy felt everywhere on campus and the confidence Armstrong graduates take to the world. She believes Armstrong is an important “hub” for the entire dyslexia community in the SF Bay Area and feels privileged to serve the school. Katie spent a decade in consumer packaged goods marketing at The Clorox Company, and worked in public relations prior to that. She co-founded Elevate Marketing in 2015, which provides marketing consulting services to non-profits. Katie serves on the board of the Young Men’s Service League and has previously held board positions on the Burlingame Community for Education Foundation. She received her BA from Duke University and an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. Katie lives in Burlingame with her husband, John, and two kids, in their soon-to-be empty nest.
