Zain Khan

Zain Khan is a parent of a current Armstrong student who joined the school in 2023. He appreciates that Armstrong sees the potential in every learner and that the school relies on the unique balance of both science and research methodology, coupled with a passion for developing life-long learners. Following his departure from Google as the first corporate IT head, Zain actively dedicated his time and resources to transforming non-profit organizations, both domestically and internationally. Zain was the founder of Citizen VC and remains an active investor, advisor, and friend to emerging technology companies. Zain still loves to "tinker" as a builder with new technologies and also with construction projects. Zain has been involved in real estate development for two decades, most recently with a focus on building single-family homes in San Mateo County. As a devoted school community member, Zain has played many leadership roles in parent associations and is very active in coaching and team booster programs. Zain is a father and chauffeur to four energetic children and is often found on the sidelines of a sports field or in the stands rooting on the 49ers as a faithful fan.
